Registered Nurses (RNs) provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients about health conditions, and provide emotional support to patients and families.
Example Day-to-Day
Daily tasks include assessing patient conditions, developing care plans, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient responses, documenting care, educating patients, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

How to Get Started
Education Requirements
Registered Nurses need either an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). BSN is preferred by many employers. Must pass the NCLEX-RN licensing exam. Advanced roles may require a master's or doctoral degree.
